Job Description

This Sr Risk Analyst will support Risk Management Information System (RMIS) responsibilities and provide reporting and risk functions related to claims processing, claims and litigation management, incident tracking, and risk exposure collection. This position will be the representative internally and externally for the RMIS integrating administrative and is responsible for working closely with the RMIS users and the RMIS system vendor, maintaining system usability, and ensuring the integrity of the system and its contained data so that the system meets the internal needs of WFM users and successfully exchanges data with applicable third parties timely and accurately. This role is based in Austin, TX, with an expectation of being in the Store Support office five days a week.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Analyze, create, document, maintain, monitor, and secure the system including logical and physical databases, data dictionaries and schemas, access methods, organization, and security 

  • Provide support for claim processes and services as needed. 

  • Maintain all aspects of system structure and integrity (space allocations, tables, indexes, meta data, etc.) 

  • Review, revise, implement and maintain data security protocols 

  • Work with users and manage processes and expectations related to system and screen design while managing user expectations 

  • System administration such as user provisioning, basic troubleshooting, and training 

  • Act as RMIS "help desk" for all users and manage the incoming emails from users to the RMIS help alias 

  • Maintain user access levels and functions group management permissions provide 

  • Conduct weekly (as needed) user training and topic-specific training for users (new users, global users, OSHA updates, etc.) 

  • Submit time-sensitive monthly and quarterly reports to accounting for use in month-end and quarter-end closings 

  • Streamline and automate recurring reporting efforts 

  • Ensure contracts with third-party system vendors have been vetted by internal/Amazon IT and meet all Amazon required IT mandates 

What You'll Bring: 

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, with 4-6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel with Alteryx experience strongly desired. Business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI, Amazon QuickSight preferred. 

  • Risk Expertise: A deep understanding of risk management principles, claims strategies, and financial reporting. 

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to analyze complex data, uncover trends, and recommend innovative solutions. 

  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to present insights and influence stakeholders, from team members to senior leadership. 

  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to work cross-functionally, engage diverse stakeholders, and drive meaningful results. 

  • Strategic Thinking: A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and streamline processes.
